Einstein once observed that Imagination is more important than knowledge . . . for imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.
My two favorite consecutive words are What if? For me imaginative possibilities are best fueled by collaboration. Collaborating with myself the right brain wins hands down. This holds especially true for my children’s books. I write about that which I wonder-- not what I know. When collaborating with my husband, David, his imagination often sparks the perfect fillip as evidenced in his hand-turned copper handles for my corgi tray.
Long Live Imaginative Collaboration and the world it embraces. Especially with someone you love.
