On Vermont Time is a Vermont- based company that is founded on a New England tradition of using local American natural products and craftsmanship. Continuing on that tradition, Bruce Wilkie, the principal furniture maker behind On Vermont Time, brings to each hand- crafted clock over four decades of design and fine woodworking experience.

Using local hardwoods such as birch, walnut, cherry, maple, and oak that are harvested using sustainable forestry products, Bruce transforms wood into a unique design. All raw materials used in these products comes from FSC certified forests. Enhancing our commitment to environmental responsibility is our use of Vermont Natural Coatings finishing products. This is an award winning whey based natural by- product of the Vermont dairy industry. Each clock combines the natural beauty of the grain and color to create clocks that are built in the time- honored tradition of Vermont craftsmanship.

A long time resident of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, Bruce handcrafts each clock one at a time in his rural studio, surrounded by forests, hayfields, horses, and cows.

The products are designed to be timeless, influenced by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, Arts and Crafts, and Mission eras.
