My photographic journey began when I was 10 years old and my grandfather showed me how to use his Canon AE-1. I still have those terrible old photos around to remind me where I began. Over 20 years later, and I am still found behind the lens of a camera as often as I can manage. I am inspired every time I go outside by the nature and wildlife surrounding me in Vermont. This means that there is usually a camera instead of a cup sitting in the cup-holder of my car most of the time. It is hard to predict when something amazing will appear out the window. I have spent my whole life in the Northeast Kingdom and this is always my favorite place to photograph. There is just so much to see right here that the opportunities are endless.
